7 Winter-Friendly Succulent Plants

This plant grows into a tight rossen and blooms peacock and yellow flowers. The growth of the blossom, however, takes roughly 20 years.


Agave Ovatifolia

Agave ovatifolia is the name of the plant, which forms a rosette and develops to be between 2 and 3 feet tall and 3 to 6 feet broad. Capable of withstanding temperatures as low as -6 to -12 degrees Celsius. It has striking icy blue leaves that attract the eye. It is one of the chilly season plants that has tiny fangs on the edges of succulent leaves.


Yucca Thompsoniana

This plant can withstand temperatures between -10 and -15 degree Celsius and has slender leaves that resemble swords and dracaena. This tropical tree species may reach height of 6 to 12 feet and a trunk thickness of 5 to 8 inches. It feature white blooms that grow into egg-shaped fruit on the top,  2 - 3 foot high leaves.



Red Yucca

Carries the scientific name Hesperaloe parviflora, which refers to a species of grass with pink blooms on long, curved stalks. This plant withstand temperatures temperatures between -6 and -12 degrees Celsius because to its long, thin leaves.


Aloe Blue Elf

This blue elf kind of aloe vera, which has leaves that are blue-gray in color and light orange flower spikes, is more resistant to cold than other aloe vera types in the range of -3 to -6 degrees Celsius. One of the cool-season plants in the rock garden, this plant may thrive in poor soil.
